About Leah

I have worked as a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) since 2007. My work has taken me from Lexington, Kentucky to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and back to my home on beautiful Vancouver Island. I live in Nanaimo, BC with my husband, Colin, and our three energetic, LOUD, and loveable crew of children.  

I'm privileged to be trained in Family Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I practice therapeutic play when working with children; I know the importance of play and art to build trust and connections with young people. So much learning, growth and healing happens when we create space and time to communicate through play and art.
